About Me
My name is Rebecca and I am 24 years old. I grew up in a small town outside of Chicago with my parents. I am currently going to Elmhurst University as a psychology major and a minor in coaching. I will be attending Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville in their Exercise and Sport Psychology Master Program.
My eating disorder, anorexia, began around the age of 12. I received treatment for the first time at a residential treatment center called Timberline Knolls in Lemont, IL in February of 2016 and received treatment at Eating Recovery Center in Chicago, IL in January of 2017. Since then, I have continued my treatment with the support of my parents, family, friends, and treatment team.
